Data Spaces continue advancing in Spain

Mar 5, 2026 | Data space

The Data Spaces ecosystem continues to consolidate with new initiatives that facilitate the adoption of these environments across different sectors.

The Data Spaces Reference Center (CRED) has recently launched its new “Solutions” section, a space that brings together products and services developed within the framework of the Sectoral Data Spaces Promotion Plan promoted by the Ministry.

This section acts as a showcase for technologies and services that help to:

✔️ promote technological sovereignty
✔️ facilitate secure data sharing
✔️ accelerate the adoption of data spaces in public and private organizations

Among the solutions identified in this initiative is D-SPACER, SQS’s proposal.

D-SPACER 2.0 provides a platform for the automated deployment of data spaces as a service, whose main objective is to facilitate the creation, management, and operation of data spaces. It simplifies the setup of these environments and helps organizations share information securely and interoperably.

Data spaces are rapidly moving from being a strategic vision to becoming real infrastructures that enable data to be shared, managed, and exploited securely, interoperably, and under the control of their owners.

The new CRED section allows users to explore these solutions through filters and detailed profiles, making it easier for interested organizations to identify technologies and contact the leaders of each initiative directly.
