You know your development processes down to the last detail, but are you sure you also know their strengths and weaknesses? Have you recently analysed the bottlenecks in your developments? The SQS Assessment Service provides you with an overview of the state of your development processes and obtain an improvement plan by pinpointing the strengths that should be highlighted and the weaknesses that should be improved.

Assessment involves advice on the software development improvement processes offered by SQS S.A. and includes the following phases:

Establishing the current processes

As a starting point, the organisation’s needs and interests are established and an interview schedule is set up with the key members of staff. Based on these interviews and after the available documentation is reviewed and assessed, an analysis is performed to establish the current processes .

Final Assessment and Future Work Plan

The Preliminary Assessment report is the outcome of the information gathered during the first phase and the application of assessment criteria based on our experience in software projects, both at the development and advisory level.

The report will be studied together with the Project Director to ensure that the impression obtained about the current situation reflects the real situation or, where applicable, to record possible commentaries/disagreements.

The final outcome of this phase will be to prepare and submit the Final Assessment Report and Future Work Plan.

Improvement Plan

As the final phase of the advisory service, SQS S.A. will help you to execute your Improvement Plan by starting the implementation process in a pilot project.
